Glamorous wedding by Eclectic Images

Let’s get straight to the pooches. Let’s forget for one second that this wedding is perhaps the most glamorous yet to appear on PLW and talk about the adorable dogs donning tuxedos.

When Austin-based photographer Heather Banks of Eclectic Images sent Jacqueline and Ryan’s wedding to PLW, my eyes at first skipped over the couples fierce first look, their impeccable attire, their lush linens and plush lounge and went right for their dogs. I turned to Michael and said, “We have to steal those dogs. Somehow, someway, I want them.” My fiance gently reminded me that the dogs, while cute, were totally 2D. “A little hard to take home,” he said.

But lucky for me and for PLW readers, we can look at these cuties as often as we want, as well as everything else this glam affair has to offer.

Jacqueline told PLW that her pink and white wedding to Ryan was guided by “vintage French inspirations. We also love classic Hollywood, and my husband is in film, so we thought it would be neat to incorporate all of the above.”

The couple’s wedding vision included an outdoor ceremony, Jacqueline said, because “there is no better setting than nature and the organic colors, sounds and greenery. It was actually supposed to rain and we told our wedding planner that no matter what, we were getting married outside—rain or shine. So our poor planners, the night before, had to get tons of umbrellas.”

However, the umbrellas weren’t needed and the couple’s sun-filled ceremony, Jacqueline said, holds one of  her favorite memories of the day.

“The first moment of the day that took my breath away was when I rounded the corner with my brother, who was walking me down the aisle … and  we both take a deep breath and we looked at each other and he said, ‘Here we go,’” Jacqueline said. “He squeezed my arm and I looked and saw my husband looking up at me, smiling, and all my favorite people looking up at me and smiling. It was the best feeling of butterflies, tears and excitement, knowing that I would soon be Mrs. Scheer.”

Aren't they? Jacqueline and Clink Events definitely had a vision. Even the couple's invitations remind me of Old Hollywood glamour.
