Hi there! Lauren here, from Southern Aisle. While Jillian is off getting all married and stuff, I’m here to share a little bit of Southern comfort with you. I’m a Southerner through and through (born and raised in Arkansas) and there are several classic aspects that you will repeatedly find at any soiree below the Mason Dixon line.
Bow Ties: They get me every time. Tied, untied, on pups – doesn’t matter – I heart them.
Clockwise from top left: 1) Hanging ties – Forage via Once Wed 2) Bow tie by High Cotton Ties 3) Boys Tie by Just Another Day in Paradise 5) Doggie Collar via Etsy 6) Bow Tie Napkin via Martha Stewart Weddings.
Monograms: Maybe it’s in our DNA or something, but every Southern lady loves a good monogram.
Clockwise from top left: 1) Cake via Southern Living 2) Napkins via Emily Ley Paper 3) Flower girl – Studio222 Photography via Southern Weddings Magazine 4) Invitation suite via Chocolate Butterbean 5) Mint julep cups via Pottery Barn.
Crisp Cocktails: We’re not picky just as long as they are tasty and refreshing. However, fun presentation is always a plus!

Thank you so very much for having me today and a big congrats to Jillian on her marriage! Best wishes on a long and happy life together!
