Olesya saw nothing wrong with the picture gallery Borya wanted to visit, other than it was a huge waste of time, she told Pretty Little Weddings. “But we still went,” Olesya said, “and as we looked through some pictures on the wall, there it was—a picture of Borya hanging on the wall, holding a sign that said, ‘Olesenka, will you marry me?’”

The pair, who met officially on Facebook after falling for one another’s profile pictures, held their beach-themed engagement session with photographer Yuliya Molitvenik at Lake Tahoe. “I love the sun, I love traveling, I love beaches,” Olesya said. “So I wanted our session to be about something that I liked. I just remember that our feet were freezing because the lake was super cold!”

And if it seems a picture is missing from this session—one of the couple locking lips—it isn’t, Olesya said. “We haven’t kissed yet, and that’s kind of special,” Olesya said. “We are saving all the best for the ceremony and our honeymoon.”
