It’s not often a man woos a woman anymore. But that’s exactly what Costel did, Andreea told Pretty Little Weddings, as he carried conversations with her online. “He was way across the world, in Romania,” Andreea said. “It was a long two years of spending all our days and nights on Skype. But in the end, he was worth it.” The couple chose Chino Hills, California, to hold their engagement session—a mix of old world glamour and whimsy, nature and high fashion, Etsy banners and Copper Willow signs—with Closer To Love Photography. “The surrounding trees and hills, with the elegant gown—it just fit,” Andreea said. “It took me back in time, when women used to really dress up. It was so romantic.”
