Kelsi hovered at the edge of her 1966 Volkswagen Bug, reading every page of their love story—a relationship that spanned the Atlantic Ocean—that Matt had composed. “Plane tickets, train tickets, pictures, receipts. You name it,” Kelsi said. “Tons of work went into this book.” But when Kelsi reached the last page, she found it blank—and Matt on one knee. “I said yes a million times,” she said. For their engagement session with photographer Michelle Cross, the couple honored that night—and their many travels to see each other—by incorporating Kelsi’s car and travel memorabilia into the shoot.
