Mountain e-session by Chad Galloway Photography

They met at a bar when Tamara saddled up to Jack’s shuffle board game and offered to be the fourth player. “Cheesy, I know,” Tamara said, but her ploy worked. And within hours Jack had entered his number in her phone. Nearly three years later, the couple met with photographer Chad Galloway for their engagement session in Crested Butte, Colorado, where the couple vacations each year for Tamara’s birthday. “We absolutely love the mountains and the Aspens,” she said. “It’s a very special place for us. It was perfect.”

French DIY wedding by Elizaeth Perotin Photographie

French couple Gilles and Gromaire fashioned every detail of what French photographer Elizabeth Perotin describes as their “retro-boheme wedding,” designing bouquets of fresh peonies and paper crafts for centerpieces. “Gilles created everything herself,” Elizabeth said. “That’s why this wedding was so unique, and because her and Gromaire make an awesome couple.”

Abandoned farm e-session by La De Da Photography

The couple met on Match.com though, “believe it or not, we live less than two miles from each other,” Lou said. Less than a year later, Tim proposed with a custom engagement ring on the island of Oahu—the couple dove into planning their farm wedding, and asked La De Da Photography to capture an engagement session that would give guests a preview of the wedding to come. “The farm and barn are nostalgic to me because I grew up in the country and in a farming family,” Lou said. “It brings me back to my roots.”

The Advice: Robyn and Lou’s colorful barn wedding

Robyn said to brides-to-be, “don’t stress so much! Things will go wrong, but it will work itself out. A wedding should be all about celebrating love and commitment. Don’t let anything or anyone else ruin that.”
